Pie in the Sky presented by US Airways is MANNA's annual funraising event since 1997. This event offers for sale fice types of pies, each individually shrink-wrapped and packaged in gift-quality boxes.
What types of pies are for sale and how much do they cost?
We offer for sale five different pies including Traditional Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan and Sweet Potato - all priced at $25 each and are 10". Our signature MANNA-made US Airways Sky Pie (cheesecake with chocolate, caramel and walnuts) is priced at $35 each and are 10".
How can I get a pie?
Order online, call in or mail your order. Visit us at 2323 Ranstead Street in Philadelphia, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Limited quantities available. Email questions to Rnonemacker@mannapa.org.
What is the last day to purchase pies?
Last day is Monday, November 25, 2013.
I do not want to buy a pie but I would like to contribute, what do I do?
Go to our ordering page and select "Too Sweet to Eat" and you make your tax deductible contribution.
If I can't make it to the pickup location, what should I do?
If you can't make it to your pick up location, you may send a friend or family member to pick up your pie for you. If you do not let MANNA staff know beforehand that you are unable to pick up your pie at all, you will not be able to pick up your pie at a later time.
What if I want to place a large order of pies?
MANNA is proud to offer exclusive discounts on orders of 100 or more pies. Contact Rob Nonemacker at RNonemacker@mannapa.org.
Why is Pie in the Sky presented by US Airways?
MANNA is fortunate to receive support from US Airways for many aspects of Pie in the Sky. In addition to providing a monetary donation to offset and underwrite some of the standard operating expenses for this event, US Airways provides volunteers from their Do-Crew to help facilitate some of the logistical aspects of the event. In appreciation of this generous donation of time and money, MANNA lists US Airways as the event sponsor.

What is MANNA's mission?
MANNA is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, PA, which prepares and delivers delicious, nourishing meals, along with counsel and hope, to people at acute nutritional risk from life-threatening illnesses, helping them improve their health and quality of life. Each month, MANNA brings more than 80,000 nutritious, freshly prepared meals right to the homes of individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening illness. MANNA serves more than 900 clients in five Pennsylvania counties and four New Jersey counties.
What does MANNA do?
A small professional staff and 1,500 dedicated volunteers bring over 80,000 nutritious, freshly prepared, home-delivered meals each month to individuals and families living with cancer, chronic kidney diseae, HIV/AIDS or other life-threatening illness. MANNA delivers 3 meals a day, 7 days a week at no charge to our clients in the greater Philadelphia region. MANNA dietitians promote wellness through nutrition education and counseling. Through these services, MANNA provides opportunities for caring people to extend loving support to families, friends, and neighbors.
